Enjoying Summer

Wyatt loves his little sister and likes to give her hugs but most of the time it is when she is sleeping. It was so cute the other day -- I was home with them by and I was getting Wyatt his drink of milk before bed and Kaylynn was crying so Wyatt picked up her bottle and put it in her mouth to make her stop crying. But unfortunately he did not hold it there so he took it out and put it back a couple of times which in the end did not help too much :)

We went to visit Max at the fire station for a family picnic. They had games for the kids to play and went on fire truck rides. Unfortunately Wyatt was a little to young to enjoy everything but he liked to play on the fire truck with Max. There is another little girl there and she was 6 months older than Wyatt and they hit it off an myself and played for a while. It was so cute to see Emma and Wyatt holding hands.

Max gave Wyatt a cupcake with a lot of green frosting and as you can see Wyatt loved the frosting. Thanks Daddy for sending me home a child dyed green and with frosting behind his ears and in his eye. But he had fun so it was worth it. And then the next day we had a "green" poop which made for a fun diaper change.

Calling all the ladies -- Come see me drive a fire truck.

Kaylynn has been awake more and interacting with Max and I. She started smiling about a week ago (around the 7th of August) and here is a picture of her smiling.

She still naps quite a bit in her swing.

Kaylynn is growing like a weed -- i think she will be out growing her clothes faster than Wyatt did. She already seems a lot bigger then her one month appointment.
