Johnson Visit/Higgins Lake

We took Kaylynn to her one month appointment today and they said she was growing great.
Here are her stats:
Weight: 9 lbs 8 oz (50 - 75 percentile)
Length: 22 inches (75 percentile)
Max's parents came to see their granddaughter for the first time and spend time with us and Wyatt. Gail was here for three weeks and was a huge help when Max had to go back to work. Neil came alittle later and we have packed alot into the time they have been here. We went to the Concours d' Elegance which is a fancy car show at Meadow Brook -- Wyatt and Kaylynn pretty much napped through the whole thing but the adults enjoyed it. Then we took a trip up north to Higgins lake to spend time at Neil and Gail's retirement home (in about 7 years). We had a great time up there. Wyatt really enjoyed being able to go outside and play all the time. We got a wagon for taking this to and from the lake and Wyatt just loves riding in it. All you have to say is "wagon ride" and his face lights up and he starts waving by to everyone because he is leaving in the wagon.
We were able to spend some time in the water and let me tell you Wyatt is a fish. He loves to play in the water. He was able to drive the boat with Max and he even went on his first wave runner ride. He was a little frightened at first however he seemed to relax and even enjoy it by the end of the ride.
We got Wyatt a little pool to play in and even though the water was quite cool - straight from the well he enjoyed playing in it.

Wyatt is learning everyday and it is so awesome to see him figure things out on his own. He is starting to talk more and more and communicate. He says up, out, and ball clearly. However, he communicates with sign language to tell us what he wants he will use the sign for "more" as "I want" and then points to what he wants. It has helped him not to get so frustrated but at times he still gets frustrated because he can not tell us what he wants.
Wyatt had such a great 6 days up at the lake that he slept most of the way home in the car.
Here are some more pictures from the lake

Kaylynn is a very laid back baby. She still is sleeping a lot during the day but is starting to be a wake more and more. At times she gives you a smile but we have failed to get it caught on camera. Wyatt is becoming more loving toward Kaylynn -- he loves to come up to her and give her hugs and kisses. However, when you are 1 your hugs are a little rough and your kisses are open mouth but it is super cute to see him loving her.
When Kaylynn is doing tummy time Wyatt loves to come over and lay on the blanket with her and at times he almost steam rolls her :).
We have brought up alot of the baby toys for Kaylynn and Wyatt loves to use them and as you can see he climbed into the swing -- getting in the swing was easier than getting out and now he has not climbed in the swing again :).
