While Max and I went to Aruba for Michelle and Ryan's wedding, Grandma (Gammy) Johnson came to babysit Wyatt for the week. This was really nice for a couple of reasons; 1) Gammy got to spend some great time with Wyatt and 2) Max and I had a little vacation by ourselves. Of course we missed the little guy but he would have been miserable in the heat and wind of Arubs. The wedding was awesome (some pictures are below) and when we got back we came back to some great milestones while we were gone. 1) Wyatt was cruising all over the place at a greater pace than we left and he was confidently pulling himself up on things. He now plays on his own a lot better. 2) Wyatt can now hold his bottle and feed himself for the entire feeding. (Awesome of mom and dad)
Wyatt is working on using a sippy cup but some days he is stubborn and does not want anything to do with it.
Wyatt has really been exploring more and more. He loves to climb up on the globe and I love this picture because he just looks like he is in awe of the big world out there. He also loved looking at Oscar with his official Uncle Ryan.After we got back from Aruba we were able to spend a few days with Max's parents and celebrate Christmas with them. We made a trip up north to check on the house on Higgins Lake and things seem in order so that was good. Other than that we got time to just relax and visit. Nice. Thanks again Gail for babysitting for us.

It was my pleasure to care for Wyatt. He's so fun and happy...most of the time. His smile was my reward! Thank you for the opportunity to have him all to myself for almost a whole week. :-)
