Boyne/21 Months

The last weeken in February we went up to Boyne Mountain to spend 5 days relaxing.  My mom and I took the kids up on Friday and everyone else go there a later. Unfortunately Christy and Adam hit a patch of black ice on the way up and ended up totalling their truck but fortunately they were both ok. We spent most of the time hanging out and relaxing but we (the adults) did go tubing a couple of times which was a blast. I loved tubing.
We took the kids sledding a couple of times and they had a ball. They even went down the hill a coupe of times by themselves. While at Boyne we went to the indoor waterpark and the kids loved it. They went down most of the slides that they could and had fun on all of them.
Well we almost made it through winter without a major illness however both kids got pretty severe earaches and Wyatt's tubes came out and he started the coughing and throwing up again. While we were at Boyne he was running a slight fever and just seemed miserable for the last day or so. We came back a day early in order to take him to the doctor and they prescribed stronger antibiotics for both of them to clear up their ear infections. The antibiotics cleared things up and we went to the ENT which confirmed his tubes are out and we have to wait and see if his body starts to drain the fluid on his own. Another check up in 2 months.
So I am a bit overdue with Kaylynn's 18 Month update but we will just call this her ~21 Month update. She is really starting to get independent and wanting to do everything from put her own cloths on to buckle her own seatbelt to cut her own food. It is fun to see her personality coming out. She is talking alot more and she is putting together 4 to 5 (sometimes more) word sentences and her speech is really becoming more and more clear. She is starting to play more and more with Wyatt and I think they will soon have a blast together as Wyatt seems to want to play with her more. At time she is still a mamas girl but she loves her alone time with daddy as well. She currently has her two bottom front teeth and four molars (two top and two bottom) and now has one upper front tooth. Eventually she will get all of her teeth but it has been a slow process. But let me tell you that does not stop her from eating everything she wants. She is my eater -- I have no worries about if she is going to eat. Kaylynn has finally started to like to read books up until now she would not sit still long enough to read a book. Some of her other favorite activities are flashcards, iPad, blocks, trains and music. At her appointment on February 23rd the doctor said she is right on track with everything. Here are her new stats:
Weight: 24 lbs 8 oz (43 percentile)
Height: 34 in (91 percentile)
