Outside Weather Please Hurry UP

It is nice when you can find the kids playing together. :) Lately Kaylynn has been fighting back more and more with Wyatt. She is starting to hold her own but is still a bit of a cry baby at times. It was funny this morning Kaylynn crawled into where the cat food is and she was sitting throwing it out of the bowl with two hands and all I heard was Wyatt laughing and saying "Kaylynn no yucky, yucky." Wyatt likes to reinforce when Kaylynn is told to sit down or take things our of her mouth. 

Kaylynn was drinking her bottle so of course Wyatt wanted to lay on the boppy and drink his cup as well. We are working to reduce the amount of time Wyatt pacifies on his cut so we have switched him to hard topped sippy cups and it seems to be working well.

Feet up, relaxing reading a book. A great way to spend a weekend afternoon!!

Kaylynn "pole dancing" just kidding she was just holding onto the lamp.

Max took Kaylynn to the doctor on the 4th of April for her 9 month check up and the doctor said she was doing great developmentally. She has recently mastered picking food up and actually getting it into her mouth. She seems to love yogurt and has been doing really well with the stage 3 food with chunks in them.

Her new stats are:

Weight: 19 lbs 7.5 oz (50 to 75th percentile)

Height: 29 inches (90 to 95 percentile)

One morning I went in to get Kaylynn up and found her sleeping with her arm hanging outside the crib -- i could not resist taking a picture. She is a really good sleeper and usually sleeps from about 8 (at the latest) till we wake her up in the morning for day care.

Wyatt loves to be outside and the first Sunday that is was warm enough to be outside he was out for 2 hours straight and it was a fight to get him to come inside. I am glad he loves to be outside so now all we need is some nice weather and for it to quit snowing in April.

 

Wyatt has many outside toys to ride on but one of his favorites is his trike. He pulled it up on the step and rode it down time and time again. He is all boy. Kaylynn also enjoyed riding around in her stroller and getting some fresh air.
