This labor day weekend Max had the whole weekend off so we took the kids up to Higgins Lake. We had a great weekend however the weather could have been a little nicer. It was a little rainy and cool but we still had a great time. My mom, Tony, Bre, Chel, Christy, Ryan and Micki were also up at the lake so we all got to spend some relaxing time together. I would have to say one of the best parts of this weekend was the fact that the kids both slept great and Kaylynn slept through the night every night and for 10 to 11 hours each night -- this sleeping through the night was a long time coming.
Wyatt likes to be up with you if you are holding Kaylynn but for the most part he is gentle with her and likes to tickle her.
Spending some time with Aunt Christy.
Happy baby girl!!
Wyatt loved to be on the boat and Uncle Ryan allowed him to drive and as you can see Wyatt has perfect form for driving - one hand on the wheel and one on the throttle. He also knows that you have to turn on Master power in order to make the horn button work -- what a smarty pants.
Hangin' with Aunt Chel and Bre as he watched the water.
The day after we got scuba certified last year we found out we were pregnant so I was unable to scuba dive in Aruba to keep my skills up so we decided to dive at Higgins however things did not work out -- I unfortunately could not clear my ears due to a throat ache and therefore could not get down under water. The water was a bit cold but with a 7 mil wetsuit it was pretty nice.
Wyatt would stand at the front door pointing outside saying "wagon ride". He loves to be outside and riding in his wagon or even taking a walk -- anything to be outside. Wyatt even shared his wagon with Kaylynn.
Because Max and I did not have to be back for work we took the kids to Mackinac as Max had never been up there. We drove thru some rain on the way up but once we got there it was nice and we walked around Mackinac City and got lunch and of course we had to get some fudge. As you can tell the kids took a good nap.
We found a little park right outside of Mackinac and Wyatt loved going down the slide and likes to pick sand up and throw it.

Good to see you all had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! Happy!
