Higgins Lake/ Update

The weekend of August 1st and 2nd Max, Wyatt and I went up north to Higgins lake with Michelle and Ryan to spend a relaxing weekend on the lake. We were able to meet and get to know Ryans family which was nice since he will be joining our family at the end of the year. It was really nice to be outside and enjoying the fresh air. Unfortunately Saturday it rained and we could not go out on the boat but it was relaxing. It eventually cleared up and we went for a walk but then it started to pour and we were caught in the rain, it was a little cold but refreshing. Wyatt was a trooper and slept through the whole rain ordeal.It seems like Wyatt has really grown this month, I can not wait until this Friday to see how much he weighs. He has really been alert for longer periods of time and is starting to throw his head back when you hold him. A first this month was he laughed for the first time on August 5th. He really has not done it again but it was super cute. :).
