5 months old

Wyatt turned 5 months old today and he has been keeping us busy. He is playing more and more on his own now but needs to have a change of scenery every once in awhile (almost a little ADD) but he is talking and squealing a lot and generally in a good mood. He has been battling a bit of congestion again for the last few days and we believe he is teething again but the congestion does not seem to slow him down (it just makes it hard to sleep at night). He now is pretty proficient at turning over from front to back and back to front and his hand eye coordination is really improving starting to really grab things which usually go immediately to his mouth :). He has been eating cereal for about a month and seems to like it but just recently we have started to feed him by spoon and he is getting better and better at each feeding.

I think Wyatt will win this wrestling match.

Wyatt really likes to nap on his stomach now -- he is so precious when he sleeps on his hands :)

Wyatt really does not like to eat off of a spoon yet but is getting better each time.

Wyatt is a really happy baby and it is so awesome to play and make him laugh and smile.

Today we had our second interview (post placement) with the adoption agency. They were really happy with Wyatt's progress and how he is thriving. He was such a ham when the lady was at our house. He was smiling, cooing and talking a lot. The final report should be done on Monday and then hopefully to court within a few weeks. It will be nice to have everything finalized.

Here is a video of Wyatt talking -- I am pretty sure there is nothing cuter than him cooing and smiling.
