This past weekend we went to Branson, MO and it was the first time Wyatt got to meet his Great Aunt Jean and Great Grandma Bowen. Wyatt had his first plane ride and did very well. I was nervous that he would be fussy on the plane because of the pressure changes but he sucked on his pacifier and slept the whole plane ride to St. Louis. Once in St. Louis we rented a car and had a 4 hour drive to Branson. Wyatt is not a long car ride baby. He hates to be strapped in and if he is not sleeping in his carseat he is not happy. He slept quite a bit on the way to Branson so that was nice for Max, Adam, Christy, Michelle and I.
Saturday we went to the lake to boat and tube and ski. Wyatt did very well on his first boat ride. His life jacket was a little bit big but overall he liked the ride. I can not wait to take him in the lake and swimming once he gets a little older.
The plane ride on the way back was uneventful as well. Wyatt was awake more on this flight but was happy just looking around and people watching. He is a very alert baby and likes to see what is going on. He is really grabbing onto toys more regularily, making more and more noises everyday, and just interacting with you.
